You’re thinking, “For @#%K sake! Why can’t I get the response I’d hoped for when I advertise my products and services?”

 

After all, the products are great and you’ve gone to a truck load of trouble to list all the amazing features… AND offer a great price!

 

But within this sorry story lies a lesson…

 

Whilst features and a great price are nice, features alone rarely sell nor do they hit the emotional hot spot that triggers a decision to buy…

 

You see, your customers decision-making isn’t logical, it’s emotional, and whilst facts and features are nice, it’s knowing your customers values, dreams and pains that allows us to take them on a journey of transformation that provides the excitement, motivation and action to buy.

 

We need to tune into what they are thinking, what they lay in bed worrying about at night and we need to talk about the stuff that really matters TO THEM at a deep, deep level.

 

We need to tell them a story about how getting on board with our products and services will make them feel like the person they long to be…  how we will relieve their pain and enhance their feelings of success – whatever success may be.

 

Our job as an entrepreneur & passionate woman in business, is to make the people you interact with feel good… feel hope… feel possibility… feel understood… 

 

We need to tell them a story that they can relate to; one they can feel connected to…

 

Because as human beings we feel drawn to people who understand us… people who resonate with our struggles…and share our dreams. We want to follow people who understand how it is for us, and who can show us the way to a better life for ourselves and for those we love.

 

Great brand messaging allows us to meet them where they are already at and elevate them from there. As you express what they’re already thinking and show them your passion to help, you build rapport, relationship and raving fans.

 

Trust, hope, belief and a vision of a powerful new and improved identity are the triggers that build customer drive and it’s that drive that leads to action and sales.

 

So don’t stick to the facts – Get to know your ideal client super-well, because your success depends on it – emotional messaging matters.
